Our Safety Commitment

Safety procedures may vary according to participant age, program type, activity level, venue, online platform, equipment, accessibility, group size and available supervision.

Programs Involving Minors

Programs are intended primarily for adults unless a specific activity clearly states that minors may take part.

When minors are permitted, the organization may require parent or guardian consent, age-appropriate communication, appropriate supervision and additional safeguarding measures.

Fitness, Yoga and Movement Activities

Fitness, yoga, mobility, stretching and wellness activities are provided for general educational and recreational purposes.

They do not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation or individualized medical advice.

Participants should choose activities appropriate to their personal circumstances and seek professional medical guidance when necessary.

Emergency Response

Participants must follow emergency instructions given by authorized organizers, facilitators or venue personnel.

Emergency services may be contacted when there is an immediate or credible safety concern.

Reporting Safeguarding Concerns

Safeguarding concerns may be reported to contact@civella.org.

Information will be shared only with individuals who reasonably need it for safety, investigation or legal compliance.

Non-Retaliation

Retaliation against a person who reports a good-faith safeguarding or safety concern is prohibited.
