Our Commitment
Civella Learning Foundation welcomes applicants from all backgrounds.
We do not make participation, volunteer or organizational decisions on the basis of race, color, national origin, ethnicity, religion, sex, age, disability or any other status protected under applicable U.S. law.
Respectful Participation
Discrimination, harassment, intimidation, bullying and degrading conduct are not permitted during organizational activities.
This applies to live online sessions, in-person activities, application communications, group discussions, messaging groups, email communications and organizational events.
Accessibility Requests
Applicants may share reasonable accessibility considerations through the application form or by contacting the organization.
The organization will review available options in good faith but may not be able to provide every requested accommodation when doing so would create a fundamental program change, serious safety issue or unreasonable operational burden.
Reporting a Concern
A person who experiences or witnesses discrimination or harassment may contact contact@civella.org.
Reports will be handled as privately as reasonably possible and shared only with authorized individuals when necessary.
Non-Retaliation
Retaliation against a person who raises a good-faith concern or participates honestly in a review is prohibited.
