Purpose
Civella Learning Foundation organizes inclusive live online and in-person learning and wellness activities that empower individuals, strengthen communities and encourage lifelong learning.
Our activities are designed to serve a charitable and educational purpose. We are not a commercial course marketplace, private coaching service, trainer-booking platform or membership gym.
Public-Benefit Commitment
Programs must be connected to the organization's stated mission and designed to provide an identifiable educational, community or wellness benefit.
Program planning may consider:
- Community needs
- Applicant interests
- Program suitability
- Available capacity
- Location
- Scheduling
- Safety requirements
- Accessibility
- Available facilitators and volunteers
- Available organizational resources
Applications are reviewed only to organize scheduling and upcoming program batches, not to rank, screen or refuse participants.
Free Participation
All programs are provided free of charge as part of our charitable and educational mission.
We do not require program fees, administrative fees, cost-recovery fees or any other payment to participate.
Private Benefit and Compensation
No director, officer, organizer, facilitator or other person is entitled to receive organizational earnings as a distribution of private profit.
The organization may pay reasonable compensation for legitimate services and may reimburse properly documented organizational expenses through appropriate governance procedures.
Program Access
Anyone is welcome to submit an application. Participation depends on upcoming program schedules, volunteer availability, program capacity and the availability of suitable learning groups.
Applications are used to organize future live online and in-person learning groups. Applicants are contacted by email with scheduling information when a suitable session becomes available.
Political Neutrality
The organization will not support or oppose any candidate for public office in the name of the organization.
Organizational Accountability
The organization aims to maintain appropriate program, governance and financial records.
Organizational statements, statistics and impact claims must be based on information that can be reasonably verified.
